Vicky De Beule & Sarah Braet
Vicky graduated for the first time in 2001 in Antwerp and obtained a master’s degree in Communication and a postgraduate in Cultural Management. Sarah graduated for the first time in 2007 and obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration in Brussels.
In 2013, they both started at the Odisee College in Ghent. Alongside family life, both ladies combined their work with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Being a mother, their experiences have shown that eating fruits and vegetables is not always easy for young children and that mealtimes can be stressful. What is the best way to deal with this?
The idea of their bachelor’s thesis was born!
Both their education and work experience provided them with the necessary tools to develop a game, that can be used to help children with food neophobia. These are, in fact, all children between the age of 2 and 7, because the fear of tasting new things is a very natural and universal process to a lesser or more extent.
Vicky and Sarah joined their forces intensively in order to develop the game and to test it amongst families with difficult eaters. The result of all this? The Taste Tower!
