Food neophobia is anxiety of unknown foods, which all children between the ages of two and six experience to a less or more extent. It can happen that a child remains anxious, and is therefore at risk of developing various eating habits in which normal growth and development are obstructed. In order to reach out to parents and to help them, an interactive game the ‘Taste Tower’ has been developed. The aim of the game is to enjoy being at the table, and to learn tasting unknown foods step by step. This is carried out thanks to positive encouragement by the parents and the introduction of a reward system.
